I’m a London-based photographer, specialising in sport and fitness photography with a straightforward and upfront approach to the work I love.
I graduated in 2012 with a 1st in Photojournalism and a love of sports. I was lucky enough to land my first photography job out of university photographing the 2012 Tour de France. From there I started to do a lot of pitch-side photography, and I was able to shoot at some of the best levels of sport that the UK has to offer, photographing Premier League football, tennis World Tours, and the Rugby World Cup. During these years, I also spent a lot of time assisting some of the top advertising and fashion photographers. I expanded my understanding of lighting from the advertising world, and the value of posing from fashion, and applied both to my knowledge of sports and capturing the moment, to distinguish myself from other photographers in the same field.
Athletes are some of the most exciting, hard-working and inspiring people in the world. My aim is for my photography to reflect that. Having myself played a number of sports to a high level I use my understanding of sport to bring out the best of each of the athletes I photograph. I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible athletes, which has only driven me to push further and work harder on achieving my goals as a photographer.
Please have a look around my website, to get a better idea of my work. If you feel like I’ve got the tools to contribute to your project, please get in touch to discuss further.
