I might not fit the mould of a ‘typical athlete,’ but after training consistently for about ten years, I’ve picked up a few things. Everyone trains for their own reasons, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. The key is finding what works for you and what you truly enjoy. Genetically, some people are more gifted, for some strength and size come naturally. For others, it doesn’t. When I’m busy or away on shoots, I am my best version of myself when I make the time to train rather than trying to find time. Training for me is all about mental reset and stress relief. I find my most productive weeks come when training is a priority.
